Vodafone Cook Islands (Part 3): Progress Through E-Education

Over the last decade, Vodafone and SES have taken the Cook Islands from high-frequency radio to high-speed broadband using the SES MEO satellite network. The next phase in the partnership deploys the advanced satellite constellation O3b mPOWER to provide fast and reliable 4G+ connectivity to the remotest part of the archipelago.

In the third of a five-part podcast series, our host Kristina Smith-Meyer visits the teachers and pupils at a school on the island of Atiu.

Featuring:

Nana Roberts, deputy principal at Apii Enuamanu School in Atiu

Mac Mokoroa, Minister of Education for the Cook Islands

The Podcast Coach: Helping ordinary people share extraordinary stories.

Aged 10, I dreamt of having my own production company called A Small Furry Bear. I presented radio shows on a ghetto blaster in my bedroom with my little brother. Now, some 20+ years later, as a podcast coach and presenter - that day dream has become an everyday reality.

Question is, how can we make your dreams of presenting a podcast come true as well?
